The School of Education, BBD University, organized an engaging guest lecture on  ‘“शिक्षा, समकालीन इतिहास और साहित्य: एक पुनर्विचार” on 30th January 2025.

The distinguished guest speaker, Prof. Devendra Choubey from the Centre for Indian Languages, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies, JNU, shared his extensive research and insights into the field of education, history, and literature.

Adding depth to the discourse, Prof. Urmila Sharma from the Women’s Study Centre, SGT University, highlighted the role of education in women’s empowerment, explored gender dynamics, and analyzed the evolving role of women in historical and contemporary contexts.

Renowned historian Dr. Rashmi Chaube, who graced the event as a Guest of Honour, enriched the session with thought-provoking perspectives on Indian history, challenging conventional interpretations and offering fresh insights.
